‘Discipline’ is Janet Jackson’s 10th Studio album and provided her with her 6th number one album which takes her past her brother Michael, tied with Madonna and behind Barbara Streisand only, who has eight. It is an improvement on her previous two albums but has received mixed reviews. It is good, dancey pop music in typical recent Janet fashion. Gone are the days when she used to treat fans with a new image and sound almost album by album.
